STUFF ABOUT ME:
-
I'm left - handed....sorta. I draw and do many things with
my left, but I use shears with my right.
-
I came up with Between Realities in
10th grade; the characters and
the basic concept were the same.
-
I spent one year honing my manga drawing skills before daring to
start Between Realities. I wish other webcomic artists would do the
same. Danfit, my old artworks suck!
-
Everything's done with pen and pencil, on laser printer paper
(It's slighter thicker and whiter than run-of-the-mill printer paper!),
scanned with a HP Scanjet 4400c, and cleaned-up, and lettered in
Photoshop.
It takes at least one hour to draw one page.
-
A classmate once labeled my drawing style as "shojo." What
the? That wasn't my intention! This can't be!
-
Speaking of shojo, my favorite manga titles are all shojo titles,
especially from CLAMP. Chobits, Magic Knights Rayearth,
Sailormoon....what a shock!
-
I hate Ayashi no Ceres. Nof offense, but that dark, creepy
series gave me mental indigestion....
-
What inspired me to be a cartoonist?
Peanuts, Snoopy in particular!
What, you were expecting a manga?
-
What inspired me to be a manga-ka?
SINC (Shadow Imagery Network
Club), a manga club from high school. What, you were expecting
a manga again?
-
I spent countless hours revising Ira and Cirrus's appearance before
starting Between Realities, Ira espeically.
Character design is
an important but tricky part of cartooning!
-
I'm a big fan of animation, especially the theaterical full animation
of the 1940's to 1950's. Viva Tex Avery!
